I'll admit my selfish truth.  

I'm inspired by people who started later than me and made it.  I get depressed hearing about those younger than me already exceeding me.

Okay but… can we talk about how exhausting it is to constantly compare ourselves, even subconsciously? Like yes, I get that social comparison can motivate us, but it can also spiral into anxiety and imposter syndrome real quick. 😩

Is anyone else lowkey tired of feeling like they’re always “behind” — whether it’s in careers, relationships, fitness, or even hobbies?? Why can’t we just exist without feeling like we’re in some invisible competition? Curious how other people have actually made peace with this (if you have??), or if we’re all just pretending we’re chill while secretly freaking out 🙃
