It took me 8 years to realise this and I will tell you in 3 minutes (from a Therapist)... 1) What happened, happened, and couldn't have happened any other way because it didn't. 2) The deepest form of self-care is building a life you don't regularly need to escape from. 3) Your trauma responses kept you alive once, but they're not serving you anymore. What protected you then is preventing you now. 4) The quality of your life is determined by the questions you ask yourself. "Why me?" creates victimhood. "What can I learn from this?" creates growth. 5) The people who trigger you the most are reflecting parts of yourself you haven't accepted yet. Your strongest reactions are your greatest teachers. 6) Your worth isn't in your productivity – it's in your existence. 7) The validation you seek from others is the acceptance you're denying yourself. 8) Your fear of failure isn't about failing – it's about being seen failing. 9) Your past isn't your prison – your perspective is. 10) Your resistance to change is just your comfort zone fighting for survival.
